Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Antidiscrimination Act (HB 235):
Delegate Joseline Pena-Melnyk introduced HB 235, cosponsored by me and many others. It was a huge disappointment it did not pass. Trangendered individuals suffer widespread discrimination in both housing and employment, and such discrimination should not be tolerated in Maryland, the Free State. The bill passed the House but died in the Senate.
